In the backroads of Brandon, FL lies a hidden gem of Tampa Bay’s alternative music scene.

The Noise Box, which can be found at 1310 John Moore Rd, can be easy to miss as the building primarily functions as a home for multiple churches to conduct their religious gatherings.

But when the church doors close, they open up only a few hours later for an audience you may not find at a church otherwise.

Focused on a Do-It-Yourself mentality, Punk, Metal, Hardcore, Indie, and Hip-Hop artists from across the nation have found community, support, and a place to express their artistic imagination through music.

In fact, both of our co-founders of Convicted Printing are also part of the executive team that have been working at the venue before Convicted Printing ever manifested.

The Noise Box has been one of the fortunate survivors of the COVID-19 pandemic, keeping their doors closed for almost 2 years, which has been devastating for most standalone venues in the Tampa Bay area.

But now, after 10 years of hosting shows, TNB is looking to celebrate their long-term success by hosting DIY DECADE FEST on Saturday, July 16th. A festival of some of the most prominent bands that have come and played at the venue over the last 10 years including headlining acts like Second Death from Georgia, Guerilla Warfare from Kentucky, and Mothersound from California will be performing

For some bands on the bill, this is their first show back since the pandemic. But for others, they are finding this as an opportunity to lay down a chapter in their life as the last show they will play as a band.

The music festival is sponsored by Dayroom Co., Alien Entities, and Convicted Printing (obviously) and will feature 15 bands between 2 different stages.

Coffee, tea, food, and existential dread will be provided by Graveyard Shift Coffee Co.

We invite you to come out and celebrate a piece of Tampa D.I.Y. history.
