Indie Rock/Jazz Rock | Mishawaka, Indiana
Bio:
Of Saints and Scoundrels was brought to life between a church drummer and guitarist. Formed to just make good music and enjoy playing it, we found a bassist and a rhythm guitarist who both felt the same way about music. When we play together, we tend to get a runners high sort of emotion. Very hard to explain, almost ethereal. We want to write music that moves the mind, heart, and soul. Without music, life is boring, and we can't have that. We have alot of math rock, jazz, blues, southern gospel, and hard rock roots.

Bio:
Humanity Level is a 4 piece progressive metal band based out of northern Indiana. We started back in late 2013 as a basement jam band, shortly following our debut album release Impression of Resonance in 2015 once the band went public. This album features classic thrashy fast pace riffs and breakdowns along with some great choruses. Not too long after that we started working on our first full length 12 song album, Daylight in December, released 2017. This is a heavily experimental album, in which it show cases all of our writing styles. From heavy, to acoustic, to rock ballad and back to progressive metal. You can’t find multiple genres of metal on this album and that’s what made it so fun to write. In late 2019 we release our latest single, Exodus. This song is the first of many to come from our new material we are currently working and hope soon to jump back into the studio to record. All our music is available on every streaming platform. Our YouTube account hold several playthrough videos, music videos, and lyric video. On the rest of our social media account you can find our promotions video links, and photos/videos from our live shows!
Death Metal/djent | Salem , Oregon
Bio:
One thing I believe that helps us stand out is our live performances, we put a lot of effort into making sure our shows are really high quality and entertaining. We handle our own sound and lights as well as we make sure we are as high energy as possible. Our drummer also makes us more unique i believe, a lot of death metal drummers are pretty cookie cutter but this is the first death metal band our drummer has been a part of and you can tell. He brings a lot more diverse sound to the table than a lot of drummers.

Addressing your problems and emotions without hesitation. Learning and growing from the pain we've both caused and suffered. We want everyone to feel as if they are a part of our family. To make them understand that we don't have to suffer alone. That we can learn from those dark parts within us. We are not alone. We are one. We are The Kollektive.

Deathcore | Wabash/Gardner, Indiana/Massachusetts
Bio:
Our guitarist Julian grew up in a small town of maybe 500 people surrounded by corn fields. With it almost always seeming like there wasn't anything to do he taught himself how to play guitar and eventually how to record himself and song write. Fast forward to around March of 2018 he made a post to his Facebook saying he had a track that he wanted someone to record vocals over. Adam Spencer linked up with him and that's basically the story of how Malcontent started. Malcontent is a two-piece slamming deathcore outfit hailing from Indiana and Massachusetts. Our debut album is dropping this July but we have not yet announced it to the public.

The project started back up the end of 2019 and IMMEDIATELY began writing. Punk | Chicago, Illinois
Bio:
What would happen if you took the concept of the movie "Speed" and applied it to Alice in Chains? Well, you'd probably get close to where we're coming from. Death of Self started as a two piece in summer of 2016 and spent the coming months subjecting every DIY venue in the south side of Chicago to the sound of a beehive being mashed through a garbage disposal, until eventually gaining more members, and coming to our present less-jarring four piece form, cemented by the release of our debut album Look Elsewhere. Many weekends on the road followed, as well as two split EPs, and benefit shows supporting the likes of the Chicago IWW and Planned Parenthood. Death of Self is currently working on accumulating material for a new full length, and putting together more events to benefit organizations looking to improve quality of life inside and outside of Chicago.

They later changed the name to Paleos in September of 2019. The group is comprised of guitarists Silas Stephens and Steven Armstrong, drummer LaNise (Chè) Essick, and vocalists Jamal (Scar) Jeffrey and Quran (C'thun) Malik. They describe their music as heavy yet melodic, fluent yet djenty and nu age timeless. The band believe to stand out is to be authentic, and original. They believe they capture these qualities by making music that metal and non metal listeners can vibe to.
Progressive Metalcore | Neenah, WI
Bio:
When I joined the band, I was very reluctant. I gave up on trying to make music, but my best friend of 20 years Andy (our bassist) spent weeks convincing me to pick up the keys and just give it a shot. Looking back on it now, I can't believe I almost decided not to do this. Ashes of Alexis is named after our vocalist Rob's girlfriend, who killed herself two years ago. Our first release Catharsis is based on that, and loosely on the five stages of grief. Our second release Neurosis is more revolved around the aftermath of loss, the acceptance of mental illness and striving to form one's own identity again. This band has given me more sense of meaning than anything else in my entire life, and we all perservere in the pursuit of creating music that takes risks and stands out from the pack. We are all incredibly passionate about this, and I believe it is because we all have had losses in the past, and never thought we would have a chance to do something like this again. Not enough bands these days have authentic depth and meaning behind their madness, and the reason I almost didn't join was because I'd rather give up the dream than create something hollow and meaningless. However, being in Ashes of Alexis has resurrected my fire and we are charting a pathway of domination for the sake of perservering through an insane world. |
