Depression is like an ocean. But all oceans have an end. OE takes the pop punk sound and marries it to the heavy angst of the post-hardcore world. Tackling issues such as mental health crises, human trafficking, police brutality, and even topics such as poverty and hunger in a first world country, Oceans End pulls no punches and refuses to shy away from any taboo subject. Born out of the post-pandemic stress laden world we find ourselves in, OE seeks to bring a voice to the voiceless and hope to those feeling like all hope is lost. With aggressive hook driven sounds paired with soaring vocals both clean and scream, comparisons are often drawn between the band and major acts such as Coheed and Cambria, Beartooth, My Chemical Romance and Four Year Strong. Known in their home scene and abroad for a near-violent high energy performance on stage, Oceans End will not rest until the human condition improves.
