Pop Punk | Chicago, Illinois

Bio:
Farhampton is a Chicago area pop punk band aiming to inspire through hard-hitting hooks and intentional instrumentation. Three of the members of Farhampton (Eric, Dale, and Ricky) met in their high school music club in 2010 and started playing covers together. Over the years even after going off to seprate colleges, they kept in contact and played together when they could. Eventually, they started writing original music. After a few lineup changes they recorded and released two singles in 2016 and their first EP 'You'll Never Take My Side' in 2017. 2018 and 2019 brought the band more shows, another single called “Where We Left Off”, and solidifying the lineup with Jake. Though the pandemic delayed Farhampton’s initial plans for more music, their first single of 2021, “Resilient”, started the year off with a positive anthem to help wash away the bad taste of 2020. With their second single “Something's Missing”, they capture the feelings of absence and anxiety that have plagued them and others at one point or another through the past year. Now, the band’s long-awaited second studio EP, The Lives We Leave Behind is sure to brighten up the summer with its fast-paced storytelling and solid hooks. Songs like “Portland” and “(Don’t) Count Me Out” are to put a smile on your face while also reminding us it’s important to grow as people. The title track of the EP has proven to be the most ambitious song due to its slower pace and use of new musical elements that have never been used by Farhampton before. Alternative Punk | San Antonio, Texas

We are gleaming streets! With a name inspired by street lights glistening the pavement painted with light rain, we are… well, a bit of everything. Based off our first EP, we’d be classified as Pop-Punk, but our newest, to be released, material emphasizes a softer, indie sound, while still having some fast, energetic songs. If we’re going by technicalities, we were formed in 2016, the very second I (Jeffrey, lead singer/guitarist, hi!) was driving through a light drizzle and thought, “Man, these streets are gleaming.”. I immediately pulled over, whipped out a pen and some scratch paper, then wrote; “gleaming streets”. This name is special to me. One, because it sounds cool, but two, at the time of the name creation, I would take hours long drives to wherever the roads would take me as a way to comfort the depression I was feeling in my early 20’s. Our name is a permanent reminder of that comfort, and I’ll always be grateful for it. Officially, the band got its start in 2019 with the addition of our bass player, Vince Granado. Since our official start, we have released a six song EP, performed to crowds of up to 100 people, opened for national touring acts, cycled through drummers till we found the perfect one (Bryan Raney, Joined 2021), and we have no intentions of ever slowing down. We are constantly looking for ways to innovate and push the boundaries of what it means to be a band. We are gleaming streets and we have one goal; to make it to the mainstream, so our friends we’ve made along the way can join us.
