Metal ((call the subgenre whatever you (meaning any listener) want)) | Murfreesboro, TN
Bio:
In 2018 we started after Adam Corso (guitar and vox) and Alec Freuchtl (bass and vox) left a previous act together and saw a similar vision. Our homebase is the original capitol of Tennessee, Murfreesboro! Through the most glorious, archaic, and always practical Craigslist, Lane Spicer (lead vocals and lyricist) joined in April 2018. Ryan Houser (Drums) joined in July and the foundation was laid; however, there was a missing link. Adam had the most experience of us all and let us know after we had finished a handful of songs that he wanted to find someone else to share in guitar duties as he had carried vocal and guitar duties in many projects. The search began, and our first try out rounded things out. Jack Crowley (Guitar, Vocals, and Piano) joined in December of 2018. Originally we called ourselves Stolen Valor and after finding a band in New York City going by the same name, we wrote as many names with SV initials and set up a whole bracket system to determine the name of the band. Ultimately we landed with Scorched Vatika. Between the 5 of us there is a 19 year difference from oldest to youngest. What has came from this is a healthy mixture of styles, tastes, oddness, and perspective that has helped us craft a strange sound. The first year and half of our lives together as a band we laid the groundwork down, consistently practicing 2-3 times a week in a 12×8 storage unit for $150 a month. John Law only came knocking one time. There we finished our 1st album Tremble which debutted in January of 2020 as well as the beginning stages of our 2nd album Dirge. Dirge on the other hand became a long drawn out project that we felt we owed our best efforts to with as much time to complete it as necessary. "The storage unit days" were beautiful, swelteringly hot, miserably cold, and often smelly and sweaty. Though we are all in different stages of life we have always found a way to balance things out. We decided we would up our practice space up and signed up for a membership at Ridenour Rehearsal Studios in Murfreesboro. To date I believe we are the 2nd longest tenured band to consistently be members at Ridenour. We constructed a major chunk of Dirge there and called it a home away from home throughout the pandemic. Just recently our Drummer Ryan has nearly completed his upstairs into a sound proof practice space. Thus chapter 3 seems to have started for the band as we are now practicing mainly at Ryan's house. We started gigging in the fall of 2019 and were loving every minute of it! We recorded Tremble with Producer Randall Scott Peterson in Gallatin, TN at Ovation Studio. After we released Tremble in 2020 we were orchestrating quite the collection of shows across the Eastern US, then Covid reared its ugly ass. Through quite the testing of our collective faith in each other we faced many trials that shaped our desire to write an album that looks at death from all angles. That was the last subject Lane wanted to write about but it ended up being the right answer. Randall Scott Peterson recorded us again throughout the pandemic over many spread out weekends. Now that Dirge has been released in July of 2022, we are venturing forth for our next battles. This is only a small taste of our story... We would love to share it in more detail; however we are not great self promoters, we try to let our music and especially our live performances speak for themselves. We are very dug into the thriving music scene in Murfreesboro and end up playing more shows there than Nashville (prideful shoutout to The Crossroads!). Our next steps are getting better and promoting ourselves, Christmas, writing, and to start playing out of state. Other than that, we exist for ourselves and our love for each other, where the music goes is simply our entertainment.

The origin of Breathing Theory began with Vocalist/Lyricist Cory Britt in 2008. In 2011 Breathing Theory self released their first EP 'Parasite', spawning the critically acclaimed radio single 'Fireflies'. After extensive touring and opening for many national acts, Breathing Theory underwent a major lineup change, and in 2014 Cory was left to rebuild, and so he did. In 2015 the newly reformed group self produced the 'Uprise' EPs and proved that Breathing Theory was not going anywhere anytime soon and also proved to audiences everywhere that their music will connect to the masses. With songs like 'The Reckoning' being pushed along with their very first full production music video, and the mighty 'Empire' which went on to be the bands most successful track, eventually becoming the first Breathing Theory song to break 1 million streams, the 'Uprise' EPs elevated Breathing Theory to new heights. Following the success of the 'Uprise' era, came the long awaited debut full length album 'Balance', produced by the band's guitarist Collin Morrison. 'Balance' yeilded the anthemic single 'The Nothing' which became a catalyst for a fresh new direction for the band. Finally catching the attention of record label CEO Pepper Gomez, the band signed to WakeUpMusicRocks in 2021 and has since been consistently dropping hard hitting singles and climbing the Billboard charts. The sky is the limit for Breathing Theory, keep an eye out for tour dates coming soon!

After years of being on a musical hiatus, our founding member Jack Richmond (former guitarist for Tribulations, Serosa) decided he wanted an outlet for his emotions and creativity. He got together a group of musicians with one thing in mind. Sharing his experiences via music with the world. Many lineup changes has brought us the the lineup we have now. Matt Easterman - Vocalist/lyricist (Ex.Tribulations) Jack Richmond - Guitarist/song writer (Ex.Tribulations, Serosa) Jacob Ceciro - Guitarist (Ex. Reckoning) Jarred Bytautas - Bass/Vocals (Ex. Encrypted) Mark Easterman - Drums/Social media manager (ex. Tribulations) Odium Rot Is a band with an unanimous Message. Perseverance. All our music is about fighting through hard times, and standing up for what is morally right even if you stand alone. From start to finish, our songs are meant to bring out the spectrum of human emotion through the experience of blistering guitar riffs, intricate Drum fills and blast beats, hefty bass parts and outstanding lyrical content accompanied by hellish vocals all written and recorded by each individual member of the band. Odium Rot's moral compass is aligned with Convicted Printing, and supports all the endeavors sought out by CP in their effort to fight Human Trafficking (genuinely one of the most vulgar acts of human indecency) and any other injustices in our community/the world. Much like the mission for "I Am Convicted" we strive make everyone feels safe, welcomed, and feel like they're apart of the music community. Whether its simply performing a show or making personal connections to fans, we make sure fans leave Odium Rot shows with the sense of connection. As it is only connection that can bring us all together.
