Bio:
Central Florida's Fabricate draws inspiration from the rich tapestry of rock and metal, with a truly multicultural lineup that spans from Ohio to Venezuela. Drawing from the groove metal mastery of bands like Gojira and Lamb Of God, as well as the more sludgy soundscapes of Alice In Chains and Mastodon, Fabricate has crafted a sound that is uniquely their own. Formed in 2018, the band spent considerable time perfecting their diverse style, grinding it out on the local scene and sharing the stage with heavy-hitters like Dropout Kings, Brojob, Signs of Swarm, Upon a Burning Body, and Chelsea Grin, among others. Despite their accomplishments, Fabricate remains ravenous for more, constantly pushing the envelope and expanding their sound. The band fearlessly blends multiple genres and styles, unafraid to step outside their comfort zone. And with an unrelenting drive to play shows anywhere and everywhere, Fabricate is poised to amass a massive following.

Metalcore | Marshalltown, IA
Bio:
We are a 4 piece metalcore band out of Marshalltown, Iowa. Our mission is to bring people together with our music. We try to incorporate a nice median of heavy riffage with catchy choruses. Our lyricism isn’t just screaming either. We write for the people who are afraid and feel shut out from the world. Those are the people who inspire us everyday to write and create a way for them to get away, let loose, and to know that they aren’t alone. Music isn’t just noise, it’s a way to express ourselves. If our music can help someone get through their day at least once, we have done our job.

Alternative/Punk/Ska | Sarasota, Florida
Bio:
Neverless started out as an experimental project, formed in March of 2018 by TJ and Cory Collins. TJ had a good handful of alternative/punk songs that he’d been writing, waiting to be brought to life. Cory, his younger brother, had played horns all throughout school, and was eager to break into the music scene as well, having recently graduated. TJ was looking for something to take his songs to the next level, so naturally, the two teamed up, and incorporated horn parts into the songs TJ had been working on. With Cory on Saxophone, and TJ on Vocals/Guitar, the band has been exploring sounds and creating their own brand of music ever since. The band can’t deny their ska-inspired roots, but explores a darker side of the genre, drawing influence from 90s - 2000s Alternative Rock and Punk more than anything. Other members include Quinton Puleo on Bass guitar, Jake Dito on Drums, Sam Reasor on Lead Guitar, and rotating members on Trumpet/Supporting Horns. The band teamed up with Producer/Engineer, Michael “Mo” Lapierre to record their debut single releases, as well as their upcoming full length self-titled LP, due to drop in March.

Metal/grindcore | Mesa, Arizona
Bio:
Weird metal for weird minds. Killed By A Yeti sources their material from the world of “high strangeness”: Cryptids, creepypastas, supernatural stories, and Brendan Fraser (whom we ADORE). We make music by Yetis for Yetis, with a mix of the thrashy-metalcore riffs of bands like Trivium and Lamb of God and the dissonance and ferocity of bands like Dr. Acula and Every Time I Die. Our vibe is our mission: to craft a unique sound and live experience, to be weird, and to show kindness and acceptance. We are the first to volunteer for charity events and drives and will be first in line to help those around us however we can. The human-yeti bond comes first, then the music.

Metal ((call the subgenre whatever you (meaning any listener) want)) | Murfreesboro, TN
Bio:
In 2018 we started after Adam Corso (guitar and vox) and Alec Freuchtl (bass and vox) left a previous act together and saw a similar vision. Our homebase is the original capitol of Tennessee, Murfreesboro! Through the most glorious, archaic, and always practical Craigslist, Lane Spicer (lead vocals and lyricist) joined in April 2018. Ryan Houser (Drums) joined in July and the foundation was laid; however, there was a missing link. Adam had the most experience of us all and let us know after we had finished a handful of songs that he wanted to find someone else to share in guitar duties as he had carried vocal and guitar duties in many projects. The search began, and our first try out rounded things out. Jack Crowley (Guitar, Vocals, and Piano) joined in December of 2018. Originally we called ourselves Stolen Valor and after finding a band in New York City going by the same name, we wrote as many names with SV initials and set up a whole bracket system to determine the name of the band. Ultimately we landed with Scorched Vatika. Between the 5 of us there is a 19 year difference from oldest to youngest. What has came from this is a healthy mixture of styles, tastes, oddness, and perspective that has helped us craft a strange sound. The first year and half of our lives together as a band we laid the groundwork down, consistently practicing 2-3 times a week in a 12×8 storage unit for $150 a month. John Law only came knocking one time. There we finished our 1st album Tremble which debutted in January of 2020 as well as the beginning stages of our 2nd album Dirge. Dirge on the other hand became a long drawn out project that we felt we owed our best efforts to with as much time to complete it as necessary. "The storage unit days" were beautiful, swelteringly hot, miserably cold, and often smelly and sweaty. Though we are all in different stages of life we have always found a way to balance things out. We decided we would up our practice space up and signed up for a membership at Ridenour Rehearsal Studios in Murfreesboro. To date I believe we are the 2nd longest tenured band to consistently be members at Ridenour. We constructed a major chunk of Dirge there and called it a home away from home throughout the pandemic. Just recently our Drummer Ryan has nearly completed his upstairs into a sound proof practice space. Thus chapter 3 seems to have started for the band as we are now practicing mainly at Ryan's house. We started gigging in the fall of 2019 and were loving every minute of it! We recorded Tremble with Producer Randall Scott Peterson in Gallatin, TN at Ovation Studio. After we released Tremble in 2020 we were orchestrating quite the collection of shows across the Eastern US, then Covid reared its ugly ass. Through quite the testing of our collective faith in each other we faced many trials that shaped our desire to write an album that looks at death from all angles. That was the last subject Lane wanted to write about but it ended up being the right answer. Randall Scott Peterson recorded us again throughout the pandemic over many spread out weekends. Now that Dirge has been released in July of 2022, we are venturing forth for our next battles. This is only a small taste of our story... We would love to share it in more detail; however we are not great self promoters, we try to let our music and especially our live performances speak for themselves. We are very dug into the thriving music scene in Murfreesboro and end up playing more shows there than Nashville (prideful shoutout to The Crossroads!). Our next steps are getting better and promoting ourselves, Christmas, writing, and to start playing out of state. Other than that, we exist for ourselves and our love for each other, where the music goes is simply our entertainment.

Metalcore | Los Angeles, California
Bio:
Stepping in from inner-city Los Angeles, Mothersound is a resilient group of 4 guys who play serious, intensely-paced music that manages to chronicle the growth and decay of their urban environment. Tired of re-hashed breakdowns and contrived lyrics, the band formed to write mature music that still caters to the zeitgeist of the underground metalcore scene - complete with air-tight live delivery, while still managing to take their craft into less-explored musical territory - both of which are indicative of this emerging talent becoming critical names in the metalcore genre. The band is now poised to capitalize on their LA-approved sound with the release of their debut full length, The Distance Between, and by touring to markets throughout the United States and bringing the unique, authentic experience that is a live showing from Mothersound.

Chaotic Hardcore | Tampa , Florida
Bio:
"If you lived in the Southeast (especially Florida) in the last 10 years or so, you may be familiar with a chaotic hardcore/metalcore band known as Illuminate Me. Signed to Tragic Hero Records after gaining a sizable fanbase in their home area, the band ultimately disbanded due to a complete lack of support from their label. Considering the band arrived at a time where bands in their genre were getting signed to labels and experiencing success, they’re a band that, at least in our opinion, should have “made it”. Now, they’ve reformed and are getting a second chance. Fans of bands like The Chariot will want to give one a spin for sure, and the song also features Oshie Bichar of Beartooth. About the new song, vocalist Christopher Murray had this to share: “I believe this band has immense potential that was squandered by a label that did not care about us and destroyed the band’s motivation and passion. I toiled for years at the thought that I was just not good enough. This return is about me proving myself, and the ones that did put the band in that position, ultimately wrong. This is about revenge.” Your anger is a gift, don’t waste it. Let it illuminate. The new song is also off Illuminate Me’s upcoming EP, Dying On A Hill That Nobody Remembers. The EP also features a guest spot from Aaron Heard of Jesus Piece, so you know it’s gonna be vicious. It’s out at the end of this month." -New Fury Media
