Catcher and the Rye was formed by drummer, Dante Deathless, circa 2009 in Central Florida. Catcher and the Rye's style lot of inspiration from modern and raw metal, and hardcore artists. Catcher and the Rye draws influence from horror classics, dark pasts and a stand against organized positivity. Inspiration deriving from the hatred that we all carry and bury within ourselves. Our theatrics convey the power each of us possesses in ourselves to uphold our own future and create our own paths.
