What would happen if you took the concept of the movie "Speed" and applied it to Alice in Chains? Well, you'd probably get close to where we're coming from. Death of Self started as a two piece in summer of 2016 and spent the coming months subjecting every DIY venue in the south side of Chicago to the sound of a beehive being mashed through a garbage disposal, until eventually gaining more members, and coming to our present less-jarring four piece form, cemented by the release of our debut album Look Elsewhere. Many weekends on the road followed, as well as two split EPs, and benefit shows supporting the likes of the Chicago IWW and Planned Parenthood. Death of Self is currently working on accumulating material for a new full length, and putting together more events to benefit organizations looking to improve quality of life inside and outside of Chicago.

Filth Spewer originates from South Bend Indiana. 4 out of the 5 of the band members went to the same high school together. each individual member had their own band in the local scene and in in 2018, all of our members joined together to create a super group known as Filth Spewer. After devoting a year and a half of practicing and building a solid foundation Filth Spewer made its debut in 2020. Also in 2020 i (Madison Ward) turned Filth Spewer into a company and is now known as Filth Spewer LLC. Filth Spewer even though being early in its years, plans to do everything professionally. Some things take years of experience and learning, however Filth Spewer is 100 ready to make any mistakes it takes to learn how to make a band a successful national touring act.

Rooted and grown from Orlando Florida, Grieve is an American Metalcore act honing influences of Nu-Metal, Beatdown, Industrial, and modern Hip-Hop. Starting as an idea on a computer, the 4-piece outfit spent months to unveil their debut single Sweet Caroline featuring Jeremy Torres of Deadland followed up by Neglected off of the upcoming EP “The Product of Self Hatred” coming early 2020. Dissonant drop tuned guitars, Sample-based melodies, and dynamic vocals sporting lyrics of angst, neglect, self-destructive behaviorism and paranoia are only but a few traits to mention about this sonically diverse Metalcore act

Metalcore | Grand Rapids, Michigan
Bio:
Vestigial is a band of four lifelong friends who compete to embarass eachother (sorry for the Imractical Jokers reference). We are a metal band FFO: Lamb of God, Bleed From Within, Trivium, and others of that vein. Here's something someone wrote about us: Grand Rapids Michigan powerhouse metal four-piece, Vestigial, formed in spring of 2016, with a unified vision: Bring the masses to their knees. Drawing influence and inspiration from metal crushers such as Sylosis, Dyscarnate, and DevilDriver, they bring their unique melodic DNA to the table for a sound that is all their own. Since the bands formation, they’ve performed numerous shows in Michigan, supporting such household names as We Came As Romans, Whitechapel, Miss May I, and DevilDriver, among others. Quickly gaining a loyal fan base, they wasted no time, recording their first stand alone single, "Shipwrecker", which was released July 29, 2017, accompanied by their debut music video, drawing respectable views on YouTube. Keeping momentum at full, they unleashed their debut melody laden neck-breaker full length album, Fallen Skies in June 2018. With a handful of singles throughout and already amassing a musical catalogue of a seasoned band, They have brought us yet a new single, Dethroned, with its own music video. This track can be found on their sophomore LP, “Crown of Serpents”. Recorded at Broken Monolith Studios and mastered at Rogue Planet (The Plot In You, Machine Head), “Crown of Serpents” marks a drastically dark and unforgiving evolution. And new drummer, Mike Miller, brings a welcome addition to the bands technicality and speed. This new LP has all the makings of a masterpiece. Vestigial prides themselves on being hardworking and approachable, having very close knit group of friends and followers. The band is dedicated to making a lasting impression. Their drive to be successful artists stems from the desire to make a difference, see the world, and love what they do. “We push ourselves to create something we’re proud of, and connect with listeners on a meaningful level. Our goal is to be a band and a movement, but never lose sight of our roots as a group of friends doing what we love.” - Michael Stellema, vocals/guitar

Catcher and the Rye was formed by drummer, Dante Deathless, circa 2009 in Central Florida. Catcher and the Rye's style lot of inspiration from modern and raw metal, and hardcore artists. Catcher and the Rye draws influence from horror classics, dark pasts and a stand against organized positivity. Inspiration deriving from the hatred that we all carry and bury within ourselves. Our theatrics convey the power each of us possesses in ourselves to uphold our own future and create our own paths.

Bio:
We're a very driven group set on making our goals happen. We have gone through alot of members since the start of our band but never gave up trying to continue what we had in mind, and that's doing what we love and making music to put out. But we feel like we have finally landed on our final five members and the best version of the band yet. Our style is a mixture of a lot of music styles, we like to have those catchy metal choruses but with really slammy breakdowns and bridges too. There are some creative things we like to throw in there too, like on slow burn there's one long solo that's split up between both of our guitarist. There's only a couple bands that i can think of off the top of my head that can do solo divides, so we're kind of proud of having the talent in our group to be able to do things like that and make it sound clean still. We have a lot of good songs ready to go for this next album and were hoping that it's going to bring us to that next step as a band and put alot more eyes on us.

We Started our with members Armando Gonzalez and David Lemieux, who were in another band with 2 other guys, when they quit, they decided to carry on and bring in newcomer Issac Stansbury on the bass. Issac had to leave to go to college for a few months, which gave Armando and David the task of finding a vocalist, which after many auditions they found Shannon VanDeMark and the line up was complete with Issac returning from college! they wrote songs about the things around them, like Shannon's recent divorce and loss of a close friend to Suicide. After months of writing they hit the scene and got as many gigs as the possibly could around the area! Talking about the struggles of life on and off the stage, kids started to talk to them after shows and relate to the music. After taking a small 3 month break from gigs they came back stronger with new guitarist Tommy Bice to compliment Armando on guitar! After some time Issac left the band due to wanting to work on other projects, and in came in good friend of the band Alec Kaufman to take the bass role! after a few weeks the band put out their first E.P. Sensitive Subjects and are currently looking to play as many gigs in suppourt of that record as they can!!!!

In 2014, a spoken word rock project called Wind Words was born in Central FL. Michael Rosado, founding member, started this project with efforts to communicate and to articulate the voice that was being expressed through many of his journal entrees accompanied by a guitar, a foot tambourine and a floor tom. Doing mini-tours with friends in his home state, first, and then in 2017 touring the mid-west (performing at Take Hold Fest), began a new normal of national touring from then on. Wind Words has released a full length LP (tracked, mixed and mastered by Brandon Shattuck, produced by Mark Nicks at Parafonic Recording Studio) called, "Digging Up Earth," in September of 2017. This record discusses themes of faith and grace, of loss and despair, of freedom and surrender, of shame and hypocrisy, of forgiveness and reconciliation. Life is a journey, a patient process and a gracious gift. "Reconciliation" is the latest (studio) single released by ww (at Parafonic) and is available where music is streamed. This year, a LIVE album was released via Bandcamp.com right after quarantine precautions were implemented in the states. The sound of this project changes with the collective of artists and audience present at shows. Often with electric guitar, bass and drums. These days, ww is constantly evolving and adapting to the road, playing solo or with friends at music festivals. In late Spring of 2020 the "QuaranTOUR" was dreamed up. This was a Summer virtual tour that took place (around Flood City Fest, in May), where friends and show hosts connected on live-stream platforms to continue safely connecting even through the pandemic. And now there are a few new releases for spoken word videos (to be released within the next few months on the Youtube Channel) as well as publications in process for collaboration projects featuring ww poetry.

Metalcore | Los Angeles, California
Bio:
Differences is a metalcore band out of Los Angeles. Our sound kinda came together over the years of playing together with each other and weeding out what each person likes. We're a metalcore band, but you can definitely hear other genres bleeding into the songs; anywhere from post-hardcore to melodic hardcore to just straight up djent. We just like playing music with each other and appreciating the ability that we get to do this. One of the things that we talked about when we got serious about this band was that this wasn't really about us. We had a platform to speak on things, and people that were listening to us and it would be a disservice to them and to us if we did not use that platform wisely, which is why we talk about taboo subjects like sexual assault or drinking and driving and more recently the effects of those things and what they do to the human body. There's little time to waste in a world that is always moving forward at a quick pace, and if we get 15 minutes on a stage and can do or say something that will move someone, we want to.

Empty is a band out of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In late 2017 the group founded their own outfit worthy of the local music scene they’d all fallen in love with. Their journey since best demonstrates their tenacity as a group; in the limited time since their conception they’ve landed multiple tours, self released an EP, and signed with Solid State Records. Their debut full-length, Hope And The Loss Of It, proves that Empty is a band full of surprises. Introducing their heaviest and lightest tracks on the same album, Empty thrives on impulse and ingenuity. Their live show is just as spontaneous, promising the free-for-all racket most hardcore bands don’t offer anymore. Their sprightliness, partnered with their motive to breed environments rich in acceptance, guarantees that the band Empty is anything but. Hope And The Loss Of was released in September 2019.

Punk | Chicago , IL
Bio:
Self loathing anxiety ridden punk rock from Chicago. Originally a solo/side project that started in the summer of 2015 when guitarist Biscuit (aka Jonny B) was unemployed and decided to slack off for the rest of the year. By 2016 a solid set of songs were written and a dysfunctional band was put together and started regular rehearsals. After several line up changes Milhouse started playing in the DeKalb area in the fall of 2017. By October of 2018 Milhouse released their first record “Everything is coming up” and were playing 1-2 shows a month in Northern IL, and surrounding states. It was also round this time the final and official line up came together. The 4 four of us gel so well. We're more than a band we're a little punk rock family. The energy and vibe that comes together when the four of us play is hard to put into words. You just feel it in your gut and feed off of it. Milhouse is currently writing and recording their second full album “In Pog Form” and hopes to release it by the end of 2020. (we hope).

Mixed in with gutterals and nasty vocals, we pride ourselves in the heavy genre. Our mission is to bring heavy music to a new and more interesting level than it currently is at this time. Adding influences of death metal and hardcore into our music has been a great help with succeeding in that goal.
